Channel Hastings 'Song Titles' Challenger Wins With Blue Moon
A group of local photography enthusiasts recently showcased a diverse range of images from their 'Song Titles' Photo Challenge at The Cafe In The Park. Local people were invited to vote for their favourite image from a wide and diverse selection of original photographs displayed on Sunday 30 November.
The budding photographers are all members of the Channel Hastings group on the popular photo-sharing site Flickr. It currently consists of 237 members comprising both local residents and visitors to Hastings and has over 5500 photos taken in Hastings and 1066 Country. The winner of the Challenge was photography enthusiast Matt McNulty. Matt's 'Blue Moon' image proved to be the most popular shot with local people.
Freelance photographer and organiser of the challenge Terry Russell said: "We'd like to thank everybody who came along to support us in The Cafe In The Park on Sunday. Matt's 'Blue Moon' image was another richly deserved winning shot and congratulations go out to Matt for winning his first ever Channel Hastings Photo Challenge".
