Winchelsea by Simon Hookey

"I have been visiting Winchelsea Beach as it's such a great place to play with a camera. I recently bought a tripod, something long overdue, having read about how it changes the way people approach their photography. I was a bit skeptical, but found it opened up opportunities for longer exposures as well as shifting the way I considered what I was doing. I felt a bit self conscious at first, but it wore off, especially as I was the only one daft enough to be on the beach after dark... and it was cold!! I took this after a bit of experimentation, waiting for the sea to paint the stones in front of me."
