On the 31st of January 2010 the Independent Photographers Gallery, closes its doors for the last time. A new gallery run by Lucy Bell, IPG's founder and director, opens on the South Coast, in the "portobello of the South" Norman Road, St Leonards on Sea on the 13th February 2010.

The inaugural exhibition is Ocean/ Linda Leiberman, who draws her inspiration from the changing ecology and her environment. At present. Linda is working with black and white photographic images, presenting them raw to convey a strong message, that ecologically man cannot ignore that which supports him.

The gallery will play host to contemporary artists, as well as well-known photographers.
